Sch\u00f6ne Hochzeiten im Standesamt oder an besonderen Orten, z. B. im ehemaligen Lotharinger Kloster in M\u00fcnster, auf der Heidecksburg in Rudolstadt oder auf Deutschlands h\u00f6chstem Berg, der Zugspitze.<\/p>\n

Damit verbinden die B\u00fcrger landl\u00e4ufig die Arbeit der Standesbeamten. Dabei sind deren Aufgaben wesentlich vielf\u00e4ltiger.<\/p>\n

Dieser etwas abgegriffene Spruch kommt der Sache wesentlich n\u00e4her, ist allerdings die zwangsl\u00e4ufige Folge wichtiger Dienstleistungen.     Die Fortf\u00fchrung der Personenstandsregister z.B. infolge einer Ehescheidung, Adoption eines Kindes oder Namens\u00e4nderungen, daneben die Beurkundung von Vater- und Mutterschaftsanerkennungen.     \nDurch die am 01. Januar 2009 in Kraft getretene Personenstandsrechtsreform wurde das elektronische Personenstandsregister und die dauerhafte elektronische Speicherung der Personenstandsdaten in den ca. 5.000 bundesdeutschen Standes\u00e4mtern eingef\u00fchrt. Als fachlich unabh\u00e4ngige Urkundsbeamte unterliegen die Standesbeamten nur der Weisung der Gerichte.<\/p>\n

    Die Standesbeamten sind unverzichtbare Dienstleister f\u00fcr Melde-, Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeits- und Ausl\u00e4nderbeh\u00f6rden, Jugend\u00e4mter, Notare, Familien- und Nachlassgerichte. Sie sind Informationsquelle f\u00fcr Privatpersonen, Ahnenforscher, Wissenschaftler, Erbenermittler, Gl\u00e4ubiger, Rentenversicherungstr\u00e4ger, Polizei, Justiz und zahlreiche weiterer Beh\u00f6rden, aber auch f\u00fcr ausl\u00e4ndische Konsulate und Botschaften.     \n\u00dcbrigens: Die Standesbeamten sind in Deutschland heute haupts\u00e4chlich weiblich und haben ihre m\u00e4nnlichen Kollegen zahlenm\u00e4\u00dfig „\u00fcberholt“. Seit dem 01. Januar 2009 wird daher die Funktionsbezeichnung „Standesbeamter\u201c in weiblicher oder m\u00e4nnlicher Form gef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n

    Die Vielzahl der standesamtlichen Aufgaben und die rechtliche Komplexit\u00e4t erfordern eine regelm\u00e4\u00dfige und intensive Aus- und Fortbildung. Die entsprechenden Inhalte werden hierbei nicht von oben, sprich von den Ministerien vorgegeben, sondern von den Landesfachverb\u00e4nden bzw. dem Bundesverband der Deutschen Standesbeamten (BDS) organisiert und durchgef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n

    Die Standesbeamten organisieren ihre Aus- und Fortbildung in eigener Zust\u00e4ndigkeit.
